Millennium Al Rawdah Hotel Nominated for Best Architecture Design at International Travel Awards 2024
Millennium Al Rawdah Hotel, an iconic presence in Abu Dhabi, was honored with a nomination for Best Architecture Design Hotel at the International Travel Awards 2024 this August. This recognition solidifies its standing as a landmark in the UAE, celebrated for a design that combines innovation and elegance.
The hotel’s architecture, a gleaming tower of curved glass and wave-like structures, reflects the flowing dunes and ripples of the desert, creating a unique visual identity. Its blue and green glass façade mirrors the hues of the Arabian Gulf, while inside, the décor blends European and Middle Eastern styles, with richly patterned fabrics, bespoke art, and luxurious materials.
Opened in 2011, the hotel spans 28,000m² and includes 281 rooms, with highlights like Presidential and Royal Suites featuring marble bathrooms and plush furnishings. It also houses seven meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, an expansive spa, and multiple dining options, including the popular 6th-floor Blue Bar in its all-glass atrium.
Conveniently located in Abu Dhabi’s business district and close to key attractions, Millennium Al Rawdah has previously won accolades, including Best Design and Well-Maintained Hotel in the UAE at the 2018 Arabian Travel Awards. This recent nomination further underscores the hotel’s commitment to excellence in architectural design and guest experience.
